      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Initiate and manage prior authorization requests via phone, fax, or electronically
      - Conduct benefit investigations and coordinate Patient Assistance Programs and copay cards for patients
      - Arrange refills, transfers, and delivery of medications
      - Regularly update patient case management systems
      - Function as a Pharmacy Technician when necessary

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Current certification by the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB)
      - Current licensure with the Virginia State Board of Pharmacy
      - Minimum of one (1) year previous pharmacy practice experience in a similar setting
      - Minimum of three (3) years prior experience with Manufacturers Patient Assistance Programs
      - High School Diploma or equivalent

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Associates Degree in Business or a related field from an accredited program
