What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Oversee and manage LiDAR and UAS projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timely and budget-conscious execution
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders, enhancing relationships and ensuring satisfaction
- Develop and maintain project plans, including schedules, budgets, and risk assessments
- Train and mentor team members on LiDAR and UAS technologies and best practices
- Collaborate with marketing teams to create outreach materials and represent the company at industry events
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's or master's degree in geomatics, surveying, engineering, or a related field
- Eight or more years of relevant work experience, with at least three years in project management
- Strong understanding of LiDAR and UAS technologies and their applications
- Experience with LiDAR data processing software and project management tools
- UAS pilot license or certification is required
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Familiarity with a variety of processing software, including TerraSolid, Global Mapper, and AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Previous experience in business development and sales within the geomatics industry
- Established network within the industry for potential client outreach
- Prior experience participating in industry conferences as a speaker or panelist
