What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Capture sales from incoming reservations calls and convert inquiries into bookings
- Process online reservations and respond to guest email inquiries and comments
- Maintain expert knowledge of all promotions, packages, and booking policies
- Up-sell rooms and add-ons to maximize revenues
- Handle guest complaints and ensure guest satisfaction
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of one year experience in hotel reservations, front desk operations, or a customer-facing role
- Knowledge of property management systems is required
- Strong customer service background is preferred
- Excellent telephone skills and basic sales skills are necessary
- High School Diploma or equivalent is required
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Prior reservations call center experience is highly desirable
- Experience in a high-volume call center is preferred
- Previous sales experience in the hospitality industry is a plus
- Degree in hospitality or a related field is preferred
- Candidates with experience in a luxury hotel environment will receive priority consideration
