What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Develop and execute strategic plans to grow sales for precision grinding and superfinishing solutions
- Serve as the primary interface between customers and engineering teams to deliver tailored solutions
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research and networking
- Conduct technical presentations and product demonstrations at trade shows
- Prepare quotations, proposals, and customer documentation while collaborating with internal departments
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 3-5 years of technical sales experience in capital equipment or manufacturing systems
- Experience in grinding, superfinishing, or precision machining is highly preferred
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, particularly in bearing manufacturing
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Existing customer base in flat lapping applications for the optics and semiconductor industries
- Knowledge of high-precision, single- and double-sided lapping solutions
