What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Prospect, develop, and close new business with new and existing customers within an assigned territory
- Meet or exceed annual sales targets and performance goals
- Conduct regular customer consultations to assess needs and provide tailored solutions
- Manage turnkey projects and customer demonstrations to ensure timely delivery and adherence to budgets
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of the machine tool industry and the company's product offerings
What is Required (Qualifications):
- BS/BA degree in Engineering or Business or equivalent work experience
- Previous outside sales experience in selling manufactured equipment
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Proven problem-solving abilities with a results-driven mindset
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation with current auto insurance
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Mechanical or technical aptitude
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with CRM software
- Innovative sales approach and effective closing skills
