      Job Purpose

      The SAP FM Analyst provides advanced guidance on financial management processes within SAP, including general ledger, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and cash management. This role designs and configures FM processes, manages posting periods and period-end closing, and ensures integrated data flow across SAP modules. The position also supports stakeholders by implementing system enhancements, resolving issues, and maintaining smooth, efficient operations.

      Requirements
      Key Responsibilities
      • Provide expert SAP FM guidance to define, confirm, and document business requirements.
      • Design and configure SAP FM processes, including Budgetary Ledger, FM Derivation, Budgeting, and AVC Control.
      • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand financial processes and deliver high-quality customer service.
      • Implement system enhancements and improvements in SAP FM.
      • Manage SAP issues, tickets, and post-production support to resolve problems efficiently.
      • Ensure seamless integration with other SAP modules and alignment with overall ERP functionality.
      • Monitor system performance, handle interfaces, and address errors as needed.


      Required Skills & Experience
      • 10+ years of SAP experience.
      • Subject Matter Expert experience in SAP FM design and configuration.
      • Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
      • Ability to manage high-impact tasks and complex assignments independently.
      • Focus on customer service and responsiveness.
      • Federal experience is required.
      • Bachelor's degree in technical, managerial, business, or related field, or an additional 4 years of relevant experience may substitute.
      • Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD clearance.


      Preferred Skills
      • 3+ years of Navy ERP experience.
      • Familiarity with Navy and/or DoD IT architectures.
      • Experience in post go-live production support, break/fix, and issue resolution.
      • Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) in Tier 2 environments.
      • Experience supporting various SAP modules (e.g., ECC, BW, SCM, SRM).
      • SAP production support and Help Desk IT support system knowledge.
      • Ability to collaborate with SAP Functional/Technical teams for issue resolution.
      • General knowledge of interface monitoring and error handling processes.
