What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Videochat with high school students to review SAT practice tests
- Explain the fundamentals of grammar and math, along with test-taking strategies
- Construct your own curriculum based on student needs
- Provide engaging and effective tutoring sessions
- Maintain a charismatic and personable approach to keep students focused
What is Required (Qualifications):
- A baseline of 1450+ SAT or 33+ ACT score
- Sophomore in college (Class of 2025) or older
- Ability to teach both English and Math
- Nice and funny personality
- Availability of at least 10 hours per week
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Charitable mindset and experience working with socioeconomically disadvantaged students
- Previous tutoring experience
