What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Build and maintain actuarial models for forecasting and tracking performance risks associated with Medicare Advantage Special Needs Plans
- Understand and interpret key drivers of healthcare trends, projecting expected revenue and costs
- Perform mathematical analyses and actuarial modeling to provide statistical findings to management
- Conduct quantitative analysis of actuarial, financial, utilization, and cost data
- Communicate results effectively to internal stakeholders
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Finance, or a related field
- On the Actuarial exam track, having passed 2 or more Actuarial exams
- 2+ years of Actuarial experience, focusing on technical skill development
- Intermediate or higher proficiency with Excel and SQL (Structured Query Language)
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in the finance-related field of the healthcare industry
- Basic or higher proficiency with SAS (Statistical Analysis System)
