What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Conduct research and analysis on trends in the Life Sciences market and client needs
- Develop and implement account plans focused on cross-selling and expanding buyer bases for key accounts
- Generate interest in services through outreach and lead generation techniques
- Participate in client calls, pitch meetings, and assist in the development of business development collateral
- Collaborate with marketing and client delivery teams to identify and execute business development opportunities
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's Degree and at least 5 years of relevant professional experience, or a Master's Degree and at least 3 years of relevant experience
- At least 2 years of experience in a business development or client-facing role, with a focus on commercial companies
- Prior experience in the Life Sciences sector
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a professional presence
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills and familiarity with CRM tools
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Degree in a life sciences-related field (e.g., Biology, Chemistry, Genetics)
- Proven track record of building a sales pipeline within a business portfolio
- Experience using AI tools for business development activities
- Ability to mentor early career business development team members
- Experience working across diverse scientific and professional disciplines
