      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Review medical records for quality, completeness, and accuracy of documentation
      - Deliver ongoing education to providers through various communication methods
      - Identify documentation improvement opportunities and engage with providers to enhance accuracy
      - Develop clear and compliant written and verbal queries for clarification on documentation
      - Participate in training and onboarding new team members while supporting special projects

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Associate's Degree in Nursing, Health Information Management, or another healthcare-related field
      - Minimum of six (6) years of acute care clinical documentation experience
      - Knowledge of ICD-10-CM and ICD-10-PCS coding and query processes
      - Proficient in computer skills, including MS Office, Optum 360 eCAC, and Cerner EHR
      - Ability to recognize documentation improvement opportunities and collaborate with providers

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Certified Clinical Documentation Specialist (CCDS) from ACDIS
      - Certified Documentation Integrity Practitioner (CDIP) from AHIMA
      - Certified Documentation Expert Inpatient (CDEI) from AAPC
      - Active Registered Nurse (RN) license may fulfill certification requirements
