      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Review and analyze documentation in medical records to assign diagnoses and procedure codes
      - Adhere to official coding guidelines and the Standards of Ethical Coding
      - Utilize ICD-10-CM and HCPCS/CPT coding classification systems effectively
      - Ensure accuracy in coding for inpatient, outpatient, and professional services
      - Maintain up-to-date knowledge of coding standards and practices

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - High school diploma
      - Minimum of 3 years coding experience in ICD-10-CM and HCPCS/CPT coding
      - Certifications such as RHIT, RHIA, CCS, CPC, or CIRCC (or to be completed within 6 months of employment)
      - Working knowledge of MS-DRGs, APCs, MPFS/RVUs, and POAs
      - Experience with data entry using keyboard and mouse

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - A.S. from an accredited Health Information Technology program or B.S. from an accredited Health Information Management program
      - Familiarity with the 3M encoder and Epic software
