What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Oversee investment accounting and reporting across various investment strategies and asset classes
- Prepare and review internal and external financial reports, ensuring compliance with U.S. GAAP and regulatory requirements
- Serve as a subject matter expert on accounting for firmwide initiatives and assist in system enhancements
- Strengthen internal control frameworks and support risk mitigation strategies
- Act as a liaison between accounting, investment operations, and other departments to ensure accurate investment data reporting
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Minimum of 6 years of relevant accounting experience in asset management, investment accounting, or financial services
- CPA or progress toward certification strongly preferred
- Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with reporting or analytics tools such as Power BI or SQL
- Strong organizational and analytical skills with a commitment to accuracy and efficiency
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Strong working knowledge of investment products and strategies, including structured securities and derivatives
- Experience with investment accounting systems such as PFI or similar platforms
