What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Model reimbursement rates, analyze payer performance, and deliver financial insights that influence contract negotiations
- Provide analytic support during payer negotiations, including proposals and counter-proposals
- Conduct ad hoc analysis and modeling, validating incoming rate changes from payers
- Serve as a key advisor to leadership, offering data-driven recommendations for payer strategy and financial planning
- Utilize advanced analytical skills and knowledge of healthcare reimbursement methodologies
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum educational requirement: Bachelor's Degree
- 3-5 years of data analysis experience
- 3-5 years of SQL experience
- 3-5 years of managed care experience
- 3-5 years of financial analysis experience
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with EPIC Certifications, particularly in Resolute Hospital Billing and Professional Billing
- Master’s Degree in a relevant field
