What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Manage the full payroll cycle, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely processing
- Review and evaluate payroll data, identifying issues and resolving discrepancies
- Interpret payroll-related tax and benefits requirements, recommending solutions for complex situations
- Prepare and analyze payroll reports for HR, Finance, and leadership, providing insights based on trends
- Serve as an escalation point for complex payroll inquiries from associates and HR partners
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, HR, or a related field
- Minimum of 4 years of payroll processing experience in a mid-to-large organization
- Strong understanding of payroll regulations, wage and hour laws, and multi-state payroll
- High proficiency in Excel and payroll reconciliation techniques
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with Workday, SAP, UKG, ADP, or similar platforms
- CPP or equivalent certification preferred; multilingual ability (Spanish or French) a plus
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
