What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide application support and maintenance, contributing to problem-solving and software implementation
- Analyze system requirements and develop methods for problem-solving, including detailed flowcharts and documentation
- Collaborate with global development and testing teams to ensure successful project delivery
- Monitor system performance, diagnose errors, and triage production tickets
- Participate in customer meetings to resolve issues and provide technical support
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
- 7-11 years of experience in software development across multiple programming languages and operating systems
- Experience with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC)
- Advanced experience with relational database development (Oracle, SQL Server) and strong PL/SQL development skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to communicate technical issues effectively
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
- Domain knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, or other healthcare programs
- Experience with object-oriented analysis and design and modern programming languages (e.g., Java, .NET, SQL)
- Familiarity with modern web technologies (e.g., AJAX, XML-RPC)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and collaboration tools (e.g., SharePoint, WebEx, Teams)
