What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Contribute to the design, development, and operation of Merchandising services at scale
- Ensure the quality, reliability, and availability of the system
- Collaborate with other teams to build features and resolve high-impact issues
- Architect and implement new products that are central to the future of the employer
- Innovate within the multi-billion dollar eCommerce market
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Experience building and working with APIs at scale, preferably in Golang and Ruby on Rails
- Strong adherence to high code quality, automated testing, and engineering best practices
- Must be located in US Eastern or Central time zones
- Experience in a high-growth environment with over 10,000 customers and $200-500M ARR range
- Proven problem-solving and perseverance capabilities in a dynamic environment
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in C++
- Background working with large datasets and high traffic
- Familiarity with Site Reliability Engineering
- Experience in Kubernetes-based deployments
- Previous work in a company at a similar stage of growth
