What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Review and maintain the Configuration Management Database (CMDB) to manage all devices and assets effectively
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in collaboration with the Service Desk, serving as a point of escalation for unresolved problems
- Manage the life cycle of devices, including provisioning, repairing, and decommissioning assets
- Create documentation for problem resolution and ensure effective communication between users and service providers
- Assist users in optimizing their use of desktop systems and provide training on products and services
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Proven experience in managing IT assets and configuration management
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
- Excellent communication skills for user interaction and documentation
- Familiarity with desktop systems and ability to provide user training
- Ability to handle multiple requests and prioritize effectively
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with Configuration Management Database (CMDB) tools
- Background in IT service management or support
- Knowledge of asset management processes and software licensing
- Familiarity with technical manuals and ability to create user-friendly documentation
- Previous experience in a consulting or technology environment
