What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Design and execute platform-level software projects from conception through launch, collaborating with senior engineers
- Build and maintain backend services and APIs that power portal experiences
- Create reusable frontend libraries, design systems, and developer tooling to enhance feature delivery
- Manage infrastructure concerns, including CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation
- Drive frontend performance, accessibility, and quality standards across portal applications
What is Required (Qualifications):
- 4+ years of experience as a software engineer with a proven track record in designing and building full-stack web applications
- Backend development experience with Python, TypeScript, or Go
- Proficiency in React and front-end best practices
- Strong fundamentals in computer science, data structures, and performance optimization
- BS degree in Computer Science, Applied Sciences, Information Systems, or a related engineering field
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Familiarity with the tech stack (AWS, K8, Python/Django, React, Postgres)
- Experience and eagerness to leverage AI development tools
- Background in building scalable, enterprise-grade applications
- Knowledge of micro-frontend architecture patterns
- Experience with web security (e.g., OWASP top 10)
