What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Lead and continuously improve safety programs to reduce workplace risks and injuries while enhancing employee engagement
- Analyze incidents, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions
- Coach leaders and employees on safety principles and compliance
- Conduct site visits to ensure OSHA compliance and mitigate hazards
- Maintain accurate safety records and report metrics, trends, and recommendations
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of related experience in safety
- Working knowledge of EPA, OSHA, and other State or Federal programs
- Work experience or education in Occupational Safety and Health, Industrial Hygiene, and/or Industrial Safety and Health
- Strong analytical skills to assess safety practices and incident reports
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in leading safety initiatives within a retail or food production environment
- Certification in safety programs or related fields
- Strong communication skills to effectively promote safety culture
- Knowledge of current safety regulations and best practices
