What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Conduct comprehensive analysis of credit, market, liquidity, and model risks, providing strategic guidance to senior management
- Establish and monitor key risk indicators (KRIs) across business lines to assess risk exposures
- Identify emerging risks and provide strategic recommendations to senior management and board committees
- Review and challenge financial models and ensure findings are remediated with model owners
- Lead independent assessments on regulatory preparedness and assist in regulatory examinations
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, economics, or related field, or equivalent work experience
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in banking, financial services, or risk management
- Demonstrated experience in credit, liquidity, or model risk management
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and quantitative skills with attention to detail
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with risk management software
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Banking or regulatory examination experience
- Master's degree in accounting, finance, economics, or related field
- Experience with model development or validation
- Experience with data querying or data visualization tools
