      Job Description:
      The technical specialist is the field-facing technical electronic health implementation expert to work independently with other information services applying specific knowledge, skills, and abilities to ensure EHRM IO prepares for Oracle Health implementation to optimize for the delivery of technical support of the EHRM IO Strategic plan. Ensuring this level of optimization requires close work with OIT, BioMed, FMS and other technical pillars, clinical and support services, project managers and other information service professional to enumerate requirements from the various groups of stakeholders. Use knowledge of technical dependencies to autonomously advise and participate the implementation of electronic medical record technologies

      Minimum qualifications:

      • 5+ years of professional work experience
      • Works independently designing and developing new software products or major enhancements to existing software for a healthcare/clinical environment.
      • Acts as highest level technical expert, addressing problems of systems integration, compatibility, healthcare semantics, informatics and multiple platforms.
      • Responsible for project completion.
      • Performs feasibility analysis on potential future projects to management
      • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare IT, computer science, electronics engineering, engineering or technical related field, or an additional 10 years of experience may be substituted for degree requirements

      Preferred qualifications:
      • VA experience preferred
      • Experience implementing Electronic Health Records
