      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Provide customer service and support via phone, email, chat, and in-person interactions for faculty, staff, and students
      - Create detailed and accurate descriptions of customer problems, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions in the IT service management tool
      - Document instructions on a variety of common practices for use within IT and campus-wide as needed
      - Install, troubleshoot, and utilize a variety of operating systems and software packages to meet customer needs
      - Assist in resolving technical issues related to computers and telecommunications technology

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - High School Diploma or equivalent
      - Experience providing customer service and technical support
      - Proficiency in troubleshooting operating systems, including recent versions of Windows and Mac OS
      - Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
      - Ability to document and track issues effectively in an IT service management tool

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Previous experience in an educational or university setting
      - Familiarity with IT service management tools, such as Cherwell
      - Knowledge of telecommunications technology and support
      - Additional certifications in IT support or customer service
      - Experience with a variety of software applications commonly used in educational environments
