What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Drive new business by prospecting, networking, and closing deals with restaurants in the Chicago area
- Meet clients face-to-face to understand their needs and demonstrate how technology can transform their operations
- Act as a trusted advisor and problem-solver without using pushy sales tactics
- Manage your sales pipeline using tools like Salesforce to track activity and forecast performance
- Collaborate with solution engineers, account managers, and onboarding teams to enhance client experience
What is Required (Qualifications):
- 1+ years of experience in B2B sales, business development, or client relationship management
- Strong communication skills and confidence to engage with clients
- A hunter mentality with a passion for building authentic client relationships
- Experience with hospitality or restaurant technology (e.g., POS systems, digital ordering, payment platforms)
- Local to the Chicago IL area and open to daily travel
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Previous experience using CRM platforms like Salesforce
- Familiarity with small business owners and franchise operations
- Hospitality industry experience (front of house, back of house, or anything in between)
