What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Collaborate with independent agents (IAs) to create and adjust agency-specific strategic business plans
- Act as the key liaison within the assigned market, driving key business initiatives and maintaining accurate records in CRM software
- Develop and maintain the new agency appointment pipeline and support corporate agreements at the local market level
- Conduct stakeholder and risk analysis on market-related issues in collaboration with Product, Pricing, and Operations teams
- Increase the quote and issuance flow of the assigned market beyond filed rate and underwriting trends
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a related field
- Bachelor's degree preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Strong knowledge of the independent agency channel and industry competitors
- Ability to analyze production data and identify trends to capitalize on opportunities
- Proficiency in using industry technology and comparative rating platforms
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in the insurance industry, particularly in sales or territory management
- Familiarity with agency management software and CRM systems
- Established relationships within the independent agency channel
- Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret market data
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
