What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Assist trauma investigators in developing novel research ideas and study protocols
- Manage research studies by collecting, retrieving, and maintaining accurate data
- Ensure scientific integrity and rigor in study design, implementation, and data collection
- Conduct independent projects under the guidance of the Research Manager and Trauma physician investigator
- Generate and draft reports, manuscripts, and visual data representations for research activities
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree in Biology or any Health Sciences
- Minimum 3 years of experience in collecting and analyzing data
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and spoken
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Master’s degree in Data-Health Science, Health Outcomes Public Health, or related field
- Statistical and publication experience in a clinical setting
- Experience in healthcare documentation and electronic medical health records
- Ability to work independently in a multidisciplinary and dynamic environment
- Familiarity with CITI training for conducting interviews with patients or caregivers
