What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide primary issue triaging on the user support help desk, responding to user reports and coordinating with product, engineering, and quality assurance teams
- Assist users in navigating the OSF and drive engagement with open science practices
- Develop user documentation and resources while maintaining clear documentation of team processes
- Support community engagement programs by cultivating strong relationships with users
- Report on customer relations activities and create metrics reports on user support trends
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 1+ years of experience in communications, engagement, or a related position
- Experience within a research or scientific environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong analytical, organizational, and documentation skills with attention to detail
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Significant experience with OSF (Open Science Framework)
- Experience in customer/community engagement roles
- Familiarity with customer interfacing systems such as Zendesk or Help Scout
- Ability to work collaboratively across teams to achieve outcomes
- Self-starting, industrious, and independent worker who seeks new challenges
