What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Teach general surveys and specialized courses in Asian Art History
- Maintain a teaching load of 3-3
- Develop and implement compelling course materials and syllabi
- Contribute to the academic success of students through effective teaching and mentoring
- Participate in departmental activities and initiatives
What is Required (Qualifications):
- A Master's degree in Art History
- Ability to teach courses in Asian Art History and other related subjects
- Previous teaching experience is preferred
- Capability to contribute to the general survey of Asian Art History
- Strong communication and organizational skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- A Ph.D. or ABD at the time of appointment
- Experience in developing innovative teaching strategies
- Familiarity with the latest research in Asian Art History
- Engagement in scholarly activities related to Asian Art
- Previous involvement in academic mentoring or student development programs
