What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Collaborate with teams to provide world-class investment strategies and solutions for clients
- Assist in the investment strategy coordination for wealth management advisors and clients
- Participate in due diligence processes for client portfolios across various asset classes
- Contribute to projects in areas such as portfolio management, asset allocation, and sustainable investing
- Support the Merrill Home Office functions to align wealth management strategies with field operations
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's or Bachelor's direct to Master's degree program student with a graduation date between November 2027 and August 2028
- Demonstrated record of achievement through extracurricular activities or leadership roles
- Finance knowledge and understanding of investment concepts
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong time management skills and attention to detail
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Minimum GPA of 3.2
- Technical skills in Excel and PowerPoint
- Major or minor in Quantitative Finance, Financial Engineering, or a related technical field
- Experience with large data sets and data science tools, including AI and machine learning
- Knowledge of coding and programming skills such as Bloomberg, FactSet, Python, R, or equivalent
