      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Conduct accurate and timely follow-up on unpaid and underpaid claims, working with payers to resolve issues
      - Research claim denials and initiate appeals as necessary, ensuring timely corrections and reprocessing of claims
      - Identify root causes and denial trends, making recommendations to prevent future denials
      - Participate in team meetings to share denial trends and contribute ideas for workflow improvements
      - Meet established productivity and quality metrics in the Accounts Receivable Department

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - High School Graduate/GED required; Technical School/2 Years College/Associates Degree preferred
      - Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in healthcare revenue cycle
      - Knowledge of healthcare billing, including CPT/ICD-10 coding and reimbursement guidelines
      - Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities
      - Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong computer literacy skills
