What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Assist in establishing premium rates and conducting financial analysis and reporting
- Support the Molina Marketplace ACA individual market pricing, forecasting, and accrual processes
- Summarize and analyze claims and utilization in support of pricing processes
- Generate and distribute routine reports for IBNR calculations and financial reporting
- Research and develop reports and analysis for senior management, effectively communicating results
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, or Economics
- 1-2 years of relevant experience
- Must have passed at least 2 actuarial exams
- Strong analytical skills to identify trends related to medical care costs
- Ability to extract and compile information from various systems
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- 3-4 years of relevant experience in healthcare or actuarial roles
- Programming experience in Databricks or SQL
