What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Analyze customers' billing processes to recommend financial improvements and maximize profitability
- Research and resolve billing discrepancies while recommending process enhancements
- Generate Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and statistical data for customers
- Conduct audits of route details that correlate directly to customer invoices
- Enter revenue and expense ratings into the billing and rating system
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Intermediate to expert proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft programs required
- Experience with Adobe or equivalent electronic data management programs required
- Strong analytical skills to identify root causes and provide recommendations
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients and management at all levels
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- Experience in billing analysis or a related area within the transportation and logistics sector
- Familiarity with revenue and commodity code analysis
- Strong ability to generate customized reports and manage ad hoc requests
- Previous experience in a credit and collections environment
