What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Draft, review, and negotiate complex B2B commercial agreements, including SaaS and data privacy/security contracts
- Advise on regulatory, data privacy, marketing, and competition issues affecting products
- Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of commercial terms with legal standards
- Provide legal support for mergers, acquisitions, and post-acquisition integration
- Coach and mentor legal staff to foster professional development
What is Required (Qualifications):
- J.D. or equivalent law degree; licensed to practice law in the United States
- 5+ years of corporate law department experience, preferably in-house
- Strong negotiation, drafting, and communication skills (written, verbal, and presentation)
- Proven ability to integrate legal, business, and technical issues for sound decision-making
- Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with mergers and acquisitions
- Familiarity with information services regulatory compliance
- Knowledge of Intellectual Property law
- Experience with international expansion initiatives
