What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Design, develop, and maintain a customized Security Orchestration Automation & Response (SOAR) solution
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify tasks suitable for automation, enhancing efficiency in security operations
- Monitor platforms for security incidents and lead incident response efforts to safeguard Protected Health Information (PHI)
- Develop and tune SIEM correlation rules and integrated SOAR workflows to detect and respond to threats
- Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation, responding promptly to security incidents outside of standard business hours
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, IT, or a related field; or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of experience in a SOC, incident response, health IT cybersecurity, or SOAR engineering role
- Proficiency in Python with proven experience in SOAR implementation, EDR tools, and SIEM solutions
- Familiarity with HIPAA and healthcare risk management practices
- Strong communication and teamwork skills with the ability to engage effectively with technical and clinical stakeholders
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP or CEH
- 5+ years of relevant experience without a degree
