What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Manage commissioning projects for data centers, including Greenfield builds and facility expansions
- Coordinate with General Contractors, sub-contractors, and other stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle
- Develop and manage commissioning plans, specifications, and project budgets
- Serve as the main point of contact for clients, providing day-to-day direction to team members
- Conduct assessments and reviews of electrical and mechanical systems during commissioning activities
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 10 years of project management experience focused on mission critical commissioning
- ABET accredited engineering or technology degree is preferred; equivalent industry experience is acceptable
- Strong knowledge of commissioning processes and related standards
- Excellent communication skills with proficiency in MS Project, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
- Willingness to travel overnight up to 30% across the USA and Canada
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Commissioning Professional certification from a recognized industry authority
- PE and/or PMP designations
- Experience in consultancy or owner organizations
- Knowledge of testing Utility transformers, UPS systems, and associated automated systems
- Strong people management and team leadership skills
