What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Work on the eCommerce Software Team across all areas of global eCommerce infrastructure, including frontend and backend integrations
- Develop and release production-ready code for assigned work
- Investigate and resolve production issues promptly
- Attend regular team meetings to communicate progress and team planning
- Collaborate with development leads and product managers to shape future projects
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum 3 years of experience in web application development
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Proven history of shipping complex components and web application systems
- Experience in building and designing APIs
- Strong understanding of web application reliability, performance, scalability, and error handling
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience leading or mentoring a team of engineers
- Familiarity with technologies such as HTML/CSS/JavaScript, React, NextJS, Ruby on Rails, Postgres, Redis, Docker, AWS, and Terraform or Pulumi
- Commitment to continuous improvement and professional development
