- Flexible schedule: Work as many hours as you want!
- In-person hourly rate of $90: We appreciate the experience that you bring to the role, and we compensate you as such!
- No micromanagement: You’re experienced and knowledgeable, so teach your content, your way!
- Help with the boring stuff: We find the clients, help with scheduling, and enforce our cancellation policy all so you can focus on what you love to do - teach.
- Dynamic and Engaging: You should be able to hold your own in front of students and deliver content in a dynamic and engaging manner.
- Experienced and has a Bachelor's Degree: We make a promise to our families that our instructors are truly experts in their respective fields, so we ask that you have a bachelor’s degree from a 4-year college or university, as well as five years of postgraduate teaching experience.
- You have experience with other entrance exams, like the SSAT, SHSAT, ACT/SAT, and HSPT/TACHS.
- You have experience helping students with their academic studies as well! Subjects include, but are not limited to:
- Math: Algebra I, Algebra II, Geometry, Trigonometry, Pre-Calculus, AP Calculus AB/BC
- ELA: Common Core State Exams, general reading comprehension, essay writing, AP Language, AP Literature
- Science: AP Bio, AP Chem, AP Physics

The Tutorverse is hiring an experienced ISEE/SHSAT Tutor (In-person) in the NYC area to help our students achieve!
Requirements
Test Prep Experience: Applicants must have extensive experience in helping students prepare for ISEE and/or SHSAT specifically.
Location: Applicants must be available to travel to students for in-person instruction within NYC, but primarily in Manhattan.
