      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Obtain authorizations for elective infusions and injections to ensure financial clearance and reimbursement
      - Utilize the EPIC system to manage workloads and prioritize tasks effectively
      - Collect and communicate outpatient benefit information to the Patient Financial Services team
      - Verify authorization requirements through insurance portals or direct communication with payors
      - Review and interpret medical record documentation to assist in the authorization process

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - High school graduate or equivalent with 2 years of working experience in a medical environment, or an Associate’s degree with 1 year of experience
      - Knowledge and interpretation of medical terminology, ICD-10, and CPT codes
      - Understanding of authorization processes and insurance guidelines
      - Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
      - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - 3 years of experience in a healthcare setting related to authorization processes
      - Ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment
      - Familiarity with third-party payor practices
      - Excellent customer service skills and telephone etiquette
      - Basic computer skills with the ability to operate standard office equipment
