What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Design, implement, and optimize production machine learning solutions for personalized recommendations
- Participate in code reviews and create maintainable, well-tested codebases with relevant documentation
- Conduct training sessions and present work to both technical and non-technical peers and leaders
- Collaborate with data scientists, software engineers, and product managers to translate business requirements into machine learning solutions
- Maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated model deployment and testing
What is Required (Qualifications):
- 4-year degree in quantitative disciplines (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) or equivalent experience
- MS in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, or equivalent work experience
- 5+ years of experience in end-to-end machine learning application development
- Highly proficient programming in Python and experience with ML frameworks such as Pytorch and TensorFlow
- Extensive experience with cloud ML services such as Vertex AI or Azure ML
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- PhD in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, or related quantitative field
- Proficiency in Java
- Experience mentoring junior team members in machine learning skills and career development
