What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Lead engineering teams to develop and maintain Edge Traffic Infrastructure, ensuring resilience and scalability
- Define and deliver a strategic roadmap for system ingress and egress points, aligning with business objectives
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build reliable and secure networking infrastructure
- Improve metrics related to availability, performance, and resiliency of the systems
- Foster a culture of quality and ownership through code review and design standards
What is Required (Qualifications):
- 7+ years of engineering experience with at least 2+ years in a leadership role focused on infrastructure or distributed systems
- Proven track record of stakeholder management and successful project delivery
- Expertise in managing large-scale cloud infrastructure systems, particularly in networking and compute
- Experience with scaling networking infrastructure such as CDN and Load Balancers, and familiarity with cloud providers like AWS, GCP, or Azure
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration with a global team
