What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, feeding, and dressing
- Engage with residents to help them have purposeful and fulfilling days
- Attend all classes and complete independent study as part of the training program
- Successfully pass the written and skills competency evaluation for registry placement
- Work as a Certified Nursing Assistant in a Skilled Nursing Facility after certification
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Enrollment in a nurse aide training program is mandatory
- Attendance required for all class dates and completion of independent study within the allotted timeframe
- Passing the written and skills competency evaluation within four months from date of hire
- Ability to read, write, and follow directions in English
