What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner to assist with inquiries
- Retrieve, load, and replenish merchandise for customers
- Ensure safe movement of merchandise for both customers and staff
- Maintain a clean and stocked store environment
- Assist with occasional travel to meetings, trainings, or neighboring stores as needed
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 6 months experience using a computer for data entry and information management
- Minimum of 6 months experience with common retail technology, such as smartphones and tablets
- Ability to obtain sales-related licensure or registration as required by law
- Physical ability to perform tasks involving prolonged standing, sitting, and lifting
- Must be able to lift 25 pounds without assistance
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- 6 months of retail experience
- 6 months of experience as a Loader at a home improvement or hardware retailer
- 6 months of experience working in any department at a retail store
- 6 months of retail merchandising experience, including stocking and maintaining product displays
- 6 months of experience in inspecting, carrying, loading, and unloading products or materials
