What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Safely transport students to their residences using a 10-14 passenger van
- Perform pre-operational and post-operational safety maintenance checks
- Record and report statistics on passenger transport using an iPad
- Operate a two-way radio system for communication
- Assist in navigating transport requests and maintaining statistical data as a dispatcher
What is Required (Qualifications):
- The formal education equivalent of a high school diploma
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- A valid Arkansas Driver’s License in good standing for the Safe Ride Driver position
- Good communication skills (written and verbal) for both driver and dispatcher roles
- Basic computer skills using Microsoft Word and Excel for the dispatcher position
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Previous customer service experience for the Safe Ride Driver role
- Experience working in a diverse environment
- Familiarity with operating a two-way radio system
