What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Serve as a subject matter expert on patient access support services and collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement patient access programs
- Provide field-based support to healthcare customers and resolve patient access and reimbursement issues
- Conduct training and education on patient access services, payer coverage guidelines, and reimbursement topics
- Collaborate with various teams to ensure effective execution of patient access and reimbursement strategies
- Communicate critical business trends and insights related to patient access and healthcare reform
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline with a minimum of 13 years of related experience, or a Master’s degree with 11 years of experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- At least 8 years of experience in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry, or with a Hub service provider or specialty pharmacy
- Ability to travel 40-50% throughout the assigned geography
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Proven leadership capabilities and experience working with cross-functional stakeholders
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in launching new products or indications, preferably in a specialty disease area such as oncology
- Subject matter expert in Medicare Part D and understanding of compliance regulations
- Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with Excel, Access, and other database software
- Commitment to continuous learning and adaptability to changing situations
