What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Manage the provider credentialing and enrollment process for Medicare/Medicaid payments
- Assist with the acquisition and conversion of facilities and participate in related calls
- Track completion of state licenses and monitor for expirations
- Complete Medicaid applications and manage employee disclosure questionnaires
- Document management and maintenance of facility databases
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma required; Associate's degree strongly desired
- Minimum 1 year of experience in medical accounts receivable
- Provider credentialing experience strongly desired
- Strong time management skills and ability to manage multiple tasks
- Excellent verbal/written communication skills and proficiency in MS Excel
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience working in a healthcare-related environment
- Familiarity with EDI enrollment processes
- Strong organizational capabilities and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team setting
- Experience with Medicaid and Medicare applications
