What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Process a wide range of registration functions involving patient encounters and provider scheduling
- Accurately handle 60-100 calls per day, including both incoming and outgoing calls
- Maintain department standard audit error rate and not ready time of 25% or less
- Schedule appointments accurately for assigned queues while delivering the highest level of customer service
- Collaborate with the Registration Manager and other team members to meet departmental objectives
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a service-related field
- Ability to maintain departmental attendance policies
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with patients and providers
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in a healthcare setting or with patient scheduling systems
- Familiarity with revenue cycle processes
- Exceptional customer service skills and a friendly demeanor
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
