What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Develop proposals and conduct financial analysis for development, production, and spare part quotes
- Provide accurate cost estimating information and create proposals in Microsoft Excel
- Work with bills-of-material, purchase order data, and supplier quotes to create proposals
- Prepare written proposal summaries, documenting assumptions and potential risks
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to analyze data from various departments
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Ability to work independently and manage daily priorities effectively
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for creating proposals
- Experience in financial analysis and cost estimating
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in proposals
- Ability to handle a large volume of proposals with timeliness
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Previous experience in the aerospace and defense industry
- Familiarity with cross-functional collaboration in a corporate setting
- Knowledge of financial return analysis and margin analysis
- Experience with government audits or factfinding inquiries
- Participation in continuous improvement initiatives
