What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Conduct thorough data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights to inform business decisions
- Create and maintain dashboards and reports to facilitate data-driven storytelling for stakeholders
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver high-impact data solutions
- Use statistical methods to interpret data and validate models for accurate forecasting
- Act as a liaison between insurers, product operations, and business units to ensure data integrity across the claims lifecycle
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a data analyst or in a similar role
- Strong experience with data modeling and SQL
- Proven ability to monitor and enforce data quality standards, KPIs, and metrics for critical datasets
- Experience in conducting in-depth investigations into data inaccuracies
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with pet insurance data and collaboration with MGAs and stakeholders
- Familiarity with creating data mapping documents and comprehensive documentation of data quality processes
- Knowledge of statistical methods for data interpretation and model validation
