      Overview

      This is a hybrid role that will only be hired in the following location: New York City, NY or Morristown, NJ.

      The VP, Portfolio Manager will be responsible for portfolio management activity on 26 accounts for equipment loans and leases which contribute to an aggregate portfolio exposure of $1Bn. You will be responsible for making recommendations on new credit requests, renewals, and modifications ensuring quality and soundness of all credit transactions.


      Responsibilities

      • Responsible for portfolio management activity on ~26 accounts for equipment loans and leases which contribute to an aggregate portfolio exposure of $1Bn
        Ensures all applicable credit policies, standards, and procedures are within full regulatory compliance.
      • Responsible for making recommendations on new credit requests, renewals, and modifications ensuring quality and soundness of all credit transactions
        Capture and document credit decisions, conditions, and modifications to meet client needs as well as balance the bank's internal risk/return requirements
      • Equipment finance knowledge across a wide range of asset classes and obligor types required, including underwriting experience as PM periodically handles new requests from clients or surges in prospect requests

      Qualifications

      Bachelor's Degree and 6 years of experience in Credit Analysis and Credit Underwriting OR High School Diploma or GED and 10 years of experience in Credit Analysis and Credit Underwriting

      Preferred/Other Qualifications:

      • Problem loan management/workout experience
      • Strong Microsoft Office Skills
      • Moody’s Credit Lens experience
      • BA and 10+ years’ experience or MBA and 7+ years’ experience
      • Equipment finance knowledge in the following asset classes - Transportation, Construction, Industrial/Manufacturing, Mining, Material Handling, Aircraft, Jones Act vessels, and Power Generation.

      If hired in New York, New York the base pay for this position is generally between $110,000.00 and $175,000.00. If hired in Morristown, New Jersey the base pay for this position is generally between $105,000.00 and $150,000.00 Actual starting base pay will be determined based on skills, experience, location, and other non-discriminatory factors permitted by law. For some roles, total compensation may also include variable incentives, bonuses, benefits, and/or other awards as outlined in the offer of employment.
