      Senior Security Operations Analyst, The Information Security and Risk Management
      The Information Security and Risk Management (ISRM) organization is seeking a Senior Security Operations Analyst to join our growing Security Operations team. The candidate will join a team responsible for managing cyber security alerts, events, and incidents as well as partnering with the other ISRM capabilities to help improve the Thomson Reuters security posture.

      About the Role
      In this opportunity as Senior Security Operations Analyst, you will:

      • Monitor cybersecurity alerts to help determine prioritization and create event/incident cases when applicable

      • Perform investigation and triage activities for security events and incidents

      • Collaborate with other ISRM teams to provide feedback on cybersecurity detection and alerting capabilities

      • Provide feedback and help improve SOC processes and procedures

      • Develop new incident response playbooks and use-cases

      • Provide escalation assistance for L1 SOC analysts

      • Collaborate with other teams within Thomson Reuters to help perform more complex investigations

      • Collaborate with the incident response team on escalations and investigations

      • Perform regular threat hunting utilizing security tools and intelligence information to identify and remediate potential security threats

      About You
      You're a fit for the role of TR5 Senior Security Operations Analyst if your background includes:

      • Bachelor’s degree required

      • 3+ years experience working in a SOC or on an incident response team

      • In-depth experience performing security investigations across different platforms including OS, networks, cloud, messaging, etc.

      • Experience coordinating with multidisciplinary groups and stakeholders when managing or investigating security incidents

      • In-depth experience working with various security tools including SIEM, EDR, AV, forensics, firewalls, cloud, etc.

      • High-level knowledge of cybersecurity attack and defense techniques

      • Interest in continually learning and developing new cybersecurity skills

      • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

      • Experience working with cloud cybersecurity tools is a major plus

      • Preferred certifications: CISSP, CISM, CISA, GCIH, GIAC

      • Experience working with cloud cybersecurity tools a plus

      • Experience with automation and scripting tools/techniques preferred

      • Amenable to work on a 24 x 7 Shift
