      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Monitor claim status and maintain records for commercial insurance billing
      - Ensure timely collection of outstanding accounts receivable and resolve billing issues
      - Review EOBs and assist with patient billing inquiries through a billing queue
      - Conduct outbound calls to insurance companies and patients to reconcile account issues
      - Facilitate appeals to insurance companies for higher payments and handle payer correspondence

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - High School Diploma or equivalent; college education preferred
      - 1-3 years of experience with receivables or collections in a healthcare setting
      - Strong telephonic communication skills
      - Ability to perform clerical and accounting functions related to billing
      - Experience in customer service with follow-through on account questions

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Familiarity with insurance billing processes and EOB review
      - Experience in appeals processing and resolution of credit balances
      - Knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance standards
      - Proficiency in relevant billing software and systems
